It Starts at Home.

There’s a moment when you come through the door and become yourself again.

You leave your shoes behind. You walk across the floor you know by heart. Maybe you head straight to the kitchen. Maybe you sit down and do absolutely nothing for a while.

It’s a small transition, but it means something.

In Japan, there’s a word for arriving home: tadaima. It means, simply, “I’m home.” We loved how much feeling could live inside something so ordinary.

In Indian homes, we recognised that feeling immediately.

Shoes come off at the entrance. Feet find their familiar place. Life happens close to the floor. Home has its own rhythm, its own rituals, and its own way of welcoming you in.

Where We Began

Our story goes back to 1984, with a family history rooted in textiles. For decades, we’ve been surrounded by fabrics — their textures, colours, craftsmanship, and the way they quietly become part of everyday life. We’ve seen how something as simple as a textile can change the feeling of a space. Over time, we started thinking about another part of the home that often goes unnoticed.

Our Feet

The first step was simple: indoor slippers.Pairs made for the walk from the bedroom to the kitchen. For cold mornings when the floor feels a little too cool. For slow afternoons at home. For those extra few minutes before heading out. For the everyday moments that rarely make it into photographs, but make up so much of our lives.We wanted to make something that felt good to wear and was just as enjoyable to look at.Because the things we use every day don’t have to be ordinary.
